Cyph's Experience:
Somehow I cannot comprehend what happened to the Battlemage. From a fast damage dealer she has been reduced to a nerve-wrecking mess that doesn't do jack anymore. Damage reduced, hit count reduced and attack speed reduced, all thanks to the selfish PvP community... Sigh
Well, if the Battlemage still entices you her skills are more effective serving their own purpose. But don't count on them too much to do the job.
On Boss Fight:
I will say, I had to do almost 10 recordings to get a good run. The Battlemage is utterly terrible and won't do good against a fortified Aranya. Strictly, and I mean strictly, stick to Freezing Spears if you want to do even any major harm to her. Everything else is weak and even a hit or miss on Aranya. A word of caution, avoid Fire Bust unless you want to trigger rapid counterattacking from Aranya. Don't even count on The End to do anything to her.
Extreme Skill: The End
Arme rises into the air and fades from sight, bringing forth a series of falling meteors to bear. The meteors vertically crash into the battlefield and spreads embers onto the points of impact.
**Unlike the NPC version, the burning embers are not as powerful for the player version**
