Nash gets to ramble in ALIEN: ISOLATION | Part 26
1Hey everyone! So in this episode I make so much progress! Just kidding, I crash the game two thirds of the way through. Note to self and everyone else, apparently the game potentially does like flares getting dropped in the elevators/transportation vehicles, or else it'll bug you out like the inconsiderate glitch you are. Although, I'm not one hundred percent sure exactly if what I did caused the crash, as potentially a bug was happening before that part. Needless to say, if I screwed up the game enough that my save is forever broken, I will be sad. Like, maybe I'd work my way through the whole campaign again to be able to finish the story, but I'm sure I wouldn't have everything possible maxed like I do now. Also, why in the last episode was there such a emphasis put on molotovs to use against the working Joes? They don't do anything! And now you don't just have an angry overpowered robot coming at you with the speed and tenacity of Michael Myers, you now have a flaming angry overpowered robot coming at you with the speed and tenacity of Michael Myers- and did I mention he is now on fire? So no, you can't even get close enough to bash the things head in. Fire doesn't slow them down at all! Like the terminator! Hell, it takes at least two shotgun shells to the FACE to incapacitate these mofo's! Or a pipe bomb. Pipe bomb OP. That would have been fun against all these guys. The EMP mine isn't so bad either, causing the robots to harlem shake while you bash their synthetic brains in.
I reallllllllllllllly want to throw a pipe bomb at an alien and see what happens. I've actually been getting better at using all these weapons, so I think I've decreased the chances of me accidentally dropping them at my feet instead down to about 25% of the time, which I think is a fair chance. COME AT ME BROSEPHIAN. I WILL EXPLODE YOU ALL OVER SEVASTAPOL'S INTERIOR AND PAINT THE WALLS WITH YOUR EXTRATERRESTRIAL GUTS. AND IT WILL BE MAGNIFICIENT.
Or I'll get scared and hide away like a baby the whole time. Either way works, right?
