And it fails spectacularly! Seriously, of all the traps I put down, only one actually worked I think! And sheesh that was close at the end there with that guy that almost murdered my face off with surprise. But we made it!

Alright, so we are pretty sure my cat has slight brain damage/special needs for a multitude of reasons. Yesterday gave us another. You now with most cats, when introduced to new creatures or people, especially MASSIVE DOGS, the cat will be hesitant and fearful and maybe run away for a bit before coming to investigate?

Okay, so my friend recently got a dog, a three year old American Bull Dog if I remember correctly (looks like a very stocky pitbull) and the dog's name is Gemma and she is an absolute sweetheart. Literally one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. She thinks she is a lap dog though, which at about 70lbs is a bit heavy. Maybe I'll post a picture of her sometime. Anyways, she's a big suck. Actually, have you seen that video of that grey dog that's wearing a blue showercap over her ears and sucking on a rubber duckie like a soother and while it's being washed? Gemma looks just like that dog.

Anyways, I was hanging out with Katie and we were dyeing her hair but we ran out of tinfoil at her house so we decided to go to my house to grab more, save having to go to the store to buy more. My house is literally like a two minute walk from hers, which is awesome. Anyways, we bring Gemma for the walk and once at my house we all go inside because it's cold outside. I grab the tinfoil and then Katie and I had the same idea at nearly the same time as we both heard Sitka meowing. She has an atrocious meow. I think Katie asked "Has Sitka ever even seen a dog before?" and honestly, I'm pretty sure she never had. So I go grab Sitka and bring her to the hallway by the front door. She's all chill in my arms but I don't want to get scratched so just in case I put her down maybe four or five feet from Gemma? In full view of each other.

And then Sitka run up to Gemma and immidiately began to sniff her and a moment later was rubbing all up against the dog, walking underneath her, rubbing her tail against her too. Very nearly crawling into Gemma's mouth, I guess because Sitka likes to give kisses on noses and that's what she was trying to do? Anyways, even Gemma was more apprehensive of Sitka, while Sitka just didn't give a flying fuck and was more like "Oh! Hello new friend!" Right away. Didn't even hesitate for a millisecond, just immediately claimed that dog as her own.

So even Katie laughed and said she was pretty sure something was wrong with my cat because that is not a normal cat reaction to things. And I have to admit, she is a pretty chill cat with new situations. Moving to this house literally didn't bother her at all.

Also, she can't hiss. I mean, I've never heard her hiss, and the closest I've ever heard is this strange quick noise that's more like a cough- "Kh!" and that's about it.

So she may be a little special but she's my cat and she's kinda awesome because of it.
