This is a simple doujin game that has a couple of things that reminds me of Bubble Bobble, but its gameplay is quite different in a few ways. You must drop blocks on top of enemies and you must make the blocks and push them around to get the job done. You can control Natade as Player One (The red-haired girl) and Coco as Player Two (The blue haired one). You can grab a powerup or two, but the idea is to try to crush groups of enemies at the same time to get captured "figurines" for lots of points. The figurines are dolls that resemble various characters from different anime. One doll, for example, is Haruhi Suzumiya from a popular light novel/anime...if you wiki her name, you can find out more information. Anyway, if you take too long to grab a figurine, some bozo in a santa costume will come onscreen and try to take it away. With that being said, take out the enemies as quickly as you can, because different enemies behave differently and grab the figurines as they appear.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this game is a trial or not, but it doesn't appear that way...though I suspect that it is. The game lists 100 possible figurines that you can find and collect and the manual seems to show everything in the game...and it doesn't mention anything about the game being a trial or not.
