The cult classic and one of the most memorable titles for the Playstation, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile was the start of a great series by Namco and has since received numerous titles. This game was very interesting at the time for being one of the first games to be "2.5D", a game with, in this case, many two-dimensional characters and gameplay mechanics within three-dimensional backdrops, delivered in a sidescrolling-platformer package. Sporting silky-smooth gameplay, clever boss battles, and a surprisingly good story complete with its own spoken language (and, IMO, one of the most emotional endings in a Playstation game), Klonoa is sought after by many Playstation gamers and collectors.
