NBA 2K Studio Gets SUED For "ILLEGAL" Practices? ๐จ |CPG #Shorts
Take-Two is being sued again!?
Take-Two are the publishers of NBA 2K the famous basketball game that everyone seems to love.
And with all franchise games that have captured a market, publishers tend to release a new game every single year.
But if you want to DOMINATE in NBA 2K you gotta be prepared to part with your hard-earned money.
2K is famous (or infamous, depending on who you're asking) for its microtransactions, where players shell out cash to get some pretty great in-game items.
The only problem is, that once the next game comes out the following year, all of that is non-transferable, so the $100 you probably spent in the game is gone.
That is where this lawsuit comes in, a minor in California, represented by their mother, is suing Take-two for "theft" stating that Take-two is "unfair, illegal and greedy".
NBA 2K, after all, is a fully priced triple-A game so why would it need to have players pay for microtransactions?
Should NBA 2K allow players to keep their stuff from previous games?
