The Video Game History Foundation recently released a working version of Power-Up Baseball from Midway. The studio behind NBA-Jam had been working on a baseball version of their popular arcade title but it was scrapped for a variety of reasons. Video Game History Founder Frank Cifaldi came across the code and was able to find people to get it working, he reached out to developers of the game for insight on how the project came to be and why it was inevitably cancelled.
