[NDS 722] Lionel Trains - On Track
I feel like this is probably ripping mechanics from some other game, because the whole city growth and special resources is very similar to a prototype board game I once played. I assume both are based on the same source material. It takes me a little while to realize how the advanced resources work, but eventually I get it. The game is unfortunately a little too simple. Either you are totally broke, or you have unlimited cash. I guess maybe I beat the scenario a little slowly. I wasn't exactly sure what it wanted, but I guess it's just raw number of deliveries. So building more trains help you make a higher level city. 3 hours of feeling somewhat entertained/somewhat bored feels about right. Once I mastered the idea, it doesn't feel like there's much left. The buildings all seem pointless, considering how rich you get in the mid game.
