Near Target restrictions ruined Triple Battles. I fixed them.
Near Target restrictions ruined Triple Battles. I fixed them. Honestly how often do you hear someone call the best part of any RPG the early part where you only have one of your 3 or more playable characters and none of the good moves or interesting mechanics that make any RPG more than two Rattata taking turns using Pound? Pokemon doesn't do anything interesting with movement or near target restrictions, so why bother having them?
Also I sped up learning moves more. When deciding what move to overwrite, you have a chance to say no to learning the move. Prompting you to say yes/no to the move more than once is already absurd, but the multiple dialogue boxes are really just the icing on the defeated heroine- I mean cake. Pokemon's UI and UX... Calling them 30 years behind the curve is an insult to the better designed NES games out there.
