I got a little bored and so I tried a run of this, as I haven't seen one anywhere. The only speedrun of an NFS game I've ever seen is NFS Underground 2 that's like 10 or 11 hours long.

In summary, my run is bad, the quality is bad and I should feel bad. This is my 3rd try in total and I don't myself trying it more than once(maybe twice) a week because of how long it takes and how easily can RNGesus screw you up.
His tricks consist of traffic that spawns always in the best possible place; Defender races, which you can ignore if they happen to be outside of the current boss' territory; and cops, especially in Silverton, where they appear almost every other race. And also canyon duels where you can save quite a bit of time if you win by overtaking in the first part. (which I did only once in this run; this alone can save around 8-10 minutes as you essentially skip a race when you overtake your opponent)

The basic route is starting with the Mazda RX-8, because tuner cars are the easiest to control in the game. The wingman of choice is Yumi and the strategy is just to turn her scout ability off (because it would cause her to constantly brake and wait for you) and let her race on her own. Doing this is essential in speedtraps in Silverton because it's nearly impossible to win those yourself.

Also, in Silverton, I start doing checkpoints, as those are the only events I could possibly complete with a Tier 2 car. The third checkpoint unlocks the Corvette Z06, which I buy just for one race because it causes Yumi to also use a Tier 3 car, which in turn gives me bigger chances of winning the speedtrap race and that unlocks the Skyline.

In my previous run, I got a 2-million-point drift and I tried it again, but in the end, I just bumped into walls almost all the time (thanks to the fact, that the game has a 0% deadzone for analog sticks)

Also I let myself get busted after my heat level reaches 2 as it is faster than trying to get away. (evading heat level 2 in under 40 seconds is pure luck)
