In this video, I play the seventh mission of Need for Speed Heat. I join Ana Haley and Manta from the League, a group of elite racers, to crash the PR event for the Showdown, a series of sanctioned races in Palm City. We want to expose Mercer, the corrupt cop who is behind the car smuggling operation, by leading the media to his chop shop. But things go wrong when we find out that someone tipped off Mercer and he had the chop shop cleaned and set up a trap for us. We have to escape from the cops and find Lucas, Ana’s brother, who is in trouble. Mercer has beaten him up and kidnapped us at gunpoint. He plans to kill us but Lucas saves us in time. Ana also manages to steal Mercer’s laptop, which might have evidence of his illegal activities. We reach a safe house and Lucas tells us why he quit racing. He blames himself for his dad’s death, who had a heart attack after finding out that Lucas was in jail for racing. We then try to unlock Mercer’s laptop but we don’t know his password.
