In this video, I play the eighth mission of Need for Speed Heat. I have an idea of how to unlock Mercer’s laptop, which Ana stole from him when Lucas saved us from his trap. I call Roshni, the leader of the offroad racing scene and a hacker, to help us crack the laptop. She sends me software that unlocks the laptop. I head to our hideout, where Ana and Lucas are looking for evidence of Mercer’s illegal activities on the laptop. They find out that he is using impounded cars to launder money and smuggle drugs. They also realize that the laptop is being tracked by the police department and they have to run. They still have the laptop with them as they are uploading the evidence to an email to be shared with the news media. I reach them just in time as the cops are trying to take them out. I take out the cops, share the evidence with the media, and throw the laptop away. Torres, a cop who is on our side, notices the laptop on the road and picks it up. As soon as the evidence is published by the media, exposing Mercer’s corruption, he goes on the run.
