4Playthrough of Need For Speed: High Stakes for the PS1 part 13. Not counting the open road events where the difficult lies in the fact that its pure RNG, this tournament is a very sharp difficulty spike in the game when it comes to pure skill as you will be racing on 3 completely new tracks with the fastest cars in the game. Both cars have similar stats in the menu but the Mclaren F1 has better cornering capabilities and speed compared to the CLK.This car is the first instance shown where you cannot select inbetween normal or ABS brakes but cars that dont have those choices are outfitted with Racing Brakes. These will behave similar to regular brakes but they will not lock the tires at high speeds, only if braking for long on very low speeds. Raceway 1 is the hardest track in here as it has almost no high speed sections and the CPU excels at slow corners since it doesnt have to slowdown as much as you do. In this tournament, races are also 4 laps long instead of the default 2. Finally by completing all the tournaments with a Gold trophy, you get the unique bonus car Phantom.
