Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) Mod Pack - Graphics Overhaul for Steam Deck and PC

The official version of NFS Most Wanted with update 1.3 is required! As far as I know the mod does not work on many pirated rips, especially Black Edition. I use the original EU copy and it works perfectly on PC and Steam Deck.

HOW TO INSTALL MOD PACK on Windows:
Copy files to game drirectory and start the game with Need for Speed Most Wanted.exe file.
I takes about half minute to start, wait patiently.

You can change the resolution in scripts/NFSMostWanted.WidescreenFix.ini if it's not dectected properly.
ResX = XXX
ResY = YYY


HOW TO INSTALL MOD PACK on Steam Deck:

I. DOWNLOAD NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED STEAM DECK READY MOD PACK AND EXTRACT IT TO FOLDER WITH GAME FILES. YOU WILL FIND A LINK IN THE DESCRIPTION.

II. WHEN ASKED, OVERWRITE ALL FILES.

III. ADD Need for Speed Most Wanted.exe AS NON-STEAM GAME.

IV. In STEAM DECK GAMING MODE, FIND Need for Speed Most Wanted.exe in the library under NON-STEAM GAMES.

V. FORCE THE GAME TO RUN WITH PROTON. I recommend the latest ProtonGE, as there is a problem with anisotropic filtering on the regular one.

VI. ADD LAUNCH COMMAND:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command%

VII. START THE GAME. The game hangs on the black screen for about a minute, patiently wait.
