Need For Speed Payback: Honda S2000 Race Build | LV299 | I Picked A Good Starter Car For Tyler
190I should make it a habit to tune and race with my starter cars from the get go, but Ghost tossed in some tuned special cars, so I went for those. Ah well...
The Honda S2K is one of my all-time favorite cars, from the high-revving VTEC 4-pot, to its manual transmission, and rear wheel drive. This was a time when Honda made excellent sports cars. In NFS 2015, the car was about average performance wise, but still a joy to drive. In this game, that joy continues but it comes with a slight snag. The car benefits from really good acceleration at its level, pretty decent acceleration overall. It doesn't lose much speed when drifting or drifting hard, but getting in to the drift is the real issue. Even with brake power and response I have in this car, the S2K still needs a bit more pressure to make the wheels lock up, unlike say the Golf GTI Clubsport. There are still more LV299 cars I have to tune, including a bunch of hatchbacks, and the other Hondas, but this car will act as a placeholder for now to see which LV299 is the fastest in this game.
