Need For Speed Payback: Mini JCW Countryman Speedcross Build | All NEXTECH Parts | BEST SETUP
56So we've got Speedcross or SPEEDX class of cars now, but we've never really had the chance to find a perfect custom fit for these cars yet, now have we? That changes today as we take Mac's Mini JCW Countryman and tune it to the max with a NexTech setup to see if they're ideal for the SPEEDX class.
NexTech Performance Parts specialize in Speed and Braking. You can fit them on any car and they'll give the advantage in races and the like, as well as more control in the corners due to increased braking power. So, if you have a really fast car that you need to tame round the corners in a race, these parts are your best bet. To be fair honestly, these parts work the best in Drift & Speedcross events. The increased speed helps with achieving points quicker and the braking bonus help the brakes lock up better giving more control over initiating a drift. On the SPEEDX Mini Countryman, they work wonders, especially with the right amount of perks. Gearing favors acceleration for a quick nitrous burst of speed, but I would keep it in the middle as even there, the Mini gets up to speed rather quickly. With increased braking, the Mini will get into a drift much quicker, with its' drift angle tuned to MORE, it will stay drifting for as long as you want. So far, compared to the Q60 S, this is the better Speedcross car: wider angles, better braking, less weight, more acceleration.
