1Now we begin the Modern Era in Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed on PS1. Of course, modern by this game's standards back in 2000. Now we look at some of these cars like classics by now here in 2022.
Something I've noticed is that the ai do also listen to the damage rules. At least that's what it seems like to me in the final races of this vid and the one before. I don't know what happened to the car I was battling with, but once it lost control and slammed into the walls a couple of times, it was pretty much my win despite not fixing my engine.
So I guess there is a strategy in damaging the opponents if you're racing dirty to get an edge. Provided you don't get yourself too damaged in the process where you lose speed too.
