Need for Speed: Rivals review
0As a launch title, NFS Rivals serves as a decent racing game for those who just want to play something familiar but on their new console. Although the game runs at 1080p (but 30 fps), there's quite a lot of texture pop-in, sometiems the map doesn't load properly if you're going too fast. It's not a particularly impressive looking game compared to Most Wanted 2012. The game lacks a sense of speed, is far too easy, too much holding down the trigger, cars don't handle differently enough and is generally very repetitive. For some people interested in the game, this may not be of concern. But for those that want a serious racing game or expecting some innovation, look elsewhere.
