GRID Autosport drifting (no assists)
2Just some gameplay showing the new GRID game from Codemasters. The drifting is one of the best, if not THE best i've come across in a racing game. No longer will you have to try to drift on long, narrow straights. You are scored on each section, and there's no time wasted getting from one drift to the next. It perfectly captures the whole point of drifting: car control. The scoring system is very good. Although it's not particularly well explained, it seems to reflect how well you did. Also, if you go off track or hit a cone, you don't lose all your points, you just can't gain any more for that section. It feels very rewarding and you are in control the whole time. You don't have to wrestle with the car. You can definitely feel when you went too far and when you can push without spinning out. It's the most fun yet least frustrating drifting mode. Well done, Codies!
