3Welcome to the FIRST EPISODE of my Need For Speed: SHIFT Gameplay Series in which I'll race through all the Tiers from TIER 1 up to the NFS World Tour. I'll also try to complete as many INVITATIONAL EVENTS as possible which are unlocked throughout leveling up and also completing other stuff! I'll also only drive in the FIRST PERSON view and will set the Difficulty on HARD.
Need for Speed: Shift is a 2009 racing video game developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 3, Windows, and Xbox 360. Developed by EA Bright Light, a distinct version of the game was simultaneously released for PlayStation Portable. Two mobile adaptations were developed by IronMonkey Studios for Java-compatible devices and iOS and released in 2009, with the latter version subsequently being made available for several other mobile devices. Need for Speed: Shift is the thirteenth installment in the Need for Speed franchise.
Shift's gameplay focuses on simulation, rather than the arcade racing of previous titles. It was followed by a sequel, Shift 2: Unleashed, in 2011.
As of 2021, Shift is no longer available for purchase in any online stores.
