Need For Speed Shift SteamVR Head Tracking Test Quest 3
I used tocaedit by racer_s (@RacerS2) and opentrack to test the game with VR head tracking on my quest 3 headset.
I think I left cockpit only on so I'm not entirely sure if that means no 6dof tracking or not. Limitations may rely on 3 degree tracking only but I may be wrong.
I also don't own a wheel and the flat screen while looking didn't help driving that easily.
I'd imagine Vorpx would work wonders to add proper 3D and being in a proper VR immersed state, but I don't want to pay $44 for software not on steam, requires online activation, and can easily get taken away at any time.
Tocaedit with this setup should be working similarly on Need For Speed the Run, Carbon, Most Wanted 2005, Prostreet, Most Wanted 2012, Hot Pursuit 2010 (OG PC Port), and Shift 2 Unleashed.
However tocaedit probably works best with shift 1 and 2 due to having better cockpit support and cams obviously and high poly interior models.
The other games require manual tweaks to move the camera with keyboard and mouse.
