The Neo Geo Pocket Color (NGPC) was a handheld gaming console released in 1999 by SNK Corporation. It was the successor to the original Neo Geo Pocket and was designed to compete with the Game Boy Color from Nintendo. The NGPC was known for its high-quality graphics and sound, and it boasted a color screen and a wide range of games, many of which were adaptations of popular arcade titles.

The NGPC featured a 16-bit CPU, 16-bit graphics processor, and 32KB of RAM. It also had a built-in infrared port, which allowed for multiplayer gaming without the need for a link cable. The console was powered by two AA batteries and had a battery life of approximately 40 hours.

Despite its impressive hardware specifications, the NGPC struggled to compete with the Game Boy Color, which had a much larger library of games and a stronger marketing presence. Nevertheless, the NGPC was popular among dedicated gaming enthusiasts, and it remains a cult favorite among retro gaming collectors.
