Neo Rank Masters - The King of Fighters '96
It's the game that laid the foundation for what future KOF's would play like, introducing running and rolling and hopping and hyper-hopping and all that stuff. Problem is, the game was kinda rushed out before the gameplay was finally tuned! People love this game for the aesthetic presentation but gameplay-wise, it's a mess with characters able to dominate with really basic strategies (Mature stand CD, Chin lie down, Iori's everything), and movesets that doesn't even have command normals programmed in. Is aesthetics enough to make up for all the gameplay flaws?
