This might be my favourite parkour game. The gameplay is fast, as one might expect of a parkour game, but the inputs are simple enough that I rarely fought with my inputs. The visuals are smooth, fast, and stutter free so motion sickness wasn't something I had to work around. The music is a fun mix of beats and electronica that really got me focused, but also made me want to chill and enjoy.

A story driven parkour game is certainly a unique combo and it works perfectly. The characters are written in a believable manner and managed to draw me in to feel for the circumstances of their life. I started gathering the presents because it might be related to the ending. I continued because I wanted more of every character.

The "short" or I suppose "quick" levels are a fantastic way to handle a speed based game that encourages repetition. Toss in the presents and now there are multiple drivers, and very different thought patterns required to sufficiently clear each level. In my opinion the game was at its weakest when dealing with longer - lets say 90+ second - levels that still had time requirements. Every run of those longer levels could have been 3+ in other levels. That extra time hurt the game pacing and had me miffed at times.

Fortunately Machine Girl’s soundtrack was there to support the game in those frustrating levels keeping players hyped with just enough chill mixed in to keep me from boiling over. It also knows when getting out of the way to support the mood of the story. The fading and mixing for this game was well executed. This OST is now on my regular playlist.

I highly recommend this game to anyone that enjoys a high speed game (FPS players, parkour fans, speedrunners, etc).
