It's easy to think about Hasbro only getting greedy with their Golden Goose of Magic: The Gathering, but for many NERF enthusiasts (and Beyblade, transformers, everything Hasbro touches, ect.) the writing has been on the wall for a few years. Completely ignoring market trends, putting out way too many half-baked ideas (hyper, mega xl, gelfire), and now nickle and diming new fandoms with expensive, "Limited" releases that never deliver on the quality to reflect the price while ignoring their core fans who have grown tired and the children who have way too many options: welcome to 2022-2023 Nerf and Hasbro.
