107When I was a child, I would often play at a friend's house who owned a mysterious cartridge containing many, many games. At the time I had no idea about bootlegs so I simply called it the "mega game". One of the things that stood out in my memory was the distinct menu music.
When I started to really get into NES collecting in the early 2000s, I learned about bootlegs and actually started to collect them, and then remembered the "mega game" from my childhood. Search after search yielded nothing until about five years ago, I came across a bootleg in a thrift store, popped it in and.....suddenly I was six years old again. This was it!
