Neural Texture Compression - Better Looking Textures & Lower VRAM Usage for Minimal Performance Cost
A look at two neural texture compression samples from Intel and NVIDIA. For the Intel demo, I used NVIDIA beta driver 590.10 with support for shader model 6.9, as the sample uses DX Cooperative Vectors through the recently released AgilitySDK 1.717.1-preview. The 590.10 driver is required for Cooperative Vector support in this demo. For the NVIDIA sample, I used driver 576.66 as driver 590.10 will not work with this sample.
