0The 2024 Mercedes Benz eVITO TOURER is part of the midsize van series from Mercedes-Benz Vans, which is undergoing significant updates in January 2024. This revamped series reflects the company's new business strategy, combining innovative design elements, intelligent connectivity options, and advanced driver assistance systems.
A major aesthetic overhaul is planned for the eVITO TOURER, including a prominent grille, adaptive Multibeam LED headlights, and chrome trim with Mercedes-Benz lettering at the rear. The interior will feature an intuitive 10.25-inch central display, contributing to its distinctive visual appeal.
The 2024 eVITO TOURER emphasizes elevated comfort and functionality. New features include Keyless start function, optional steering-wheel heating, and ambient lighting with 64 colors. Additionally, commercial models like the eVITO TOURER will have an electric Easy-Pack tailgate for easier loading and unloading.
A significant upgrade is the integration of the latest generation MBUX (Mercedes Benz User Experience) multimedia system, marking a first for the Vito and eVITO. This system, coupled with a Mercedes me account, offers a range of digital extras including maintenance and accident management, as well as remote services.
Intelligent connectivity and driver assistance systems are also a highlight. The MBUX system provides navigation with live traffic information and car-to-x communication. Safety features include Active Brake Assist with an intersection function, Blind Spot Assist, and Intelligent Speed Assist.
Diverse powertrains cater to different preferences and ESG considerations. The eVITO TOURER offers two battery sizes (90 and 60 kWh) with a peak output of 150 kW (204 PS). These models can charge at home or public stations with up to 11 kW, and fast-charging stations with up to 110 kW.
Finally, the market launch of this upgraded series will see enhanced standard equipment and simplified equipment packages, with prices ranging from €46,000 to €80,000.
