0Ken Block's enthusiasts have a final chance to witness his extraordinary driving skills and tricks in the Audi S1 Hoonitron, an electrifying prototype. Crafted by Audi Sport, this unique vehicle boasts dual electric motors, a four-wheel drive system, an impressive 500 kW power output, a robust carbon fiber body, and adheres to the top safety standards set by the FIA, the premier motorsport governing body.
After filming the initial Electrikhana episode in August 2022, the S1 Hoonitron underwent further enhancements, in collaboration with Block himself. These improvements focused on decreasing the car's weight, boosting its handling, and adding simulated gear shifts.
In the inaugural episode, Block masterfully maneuvered the Audi S1 Hoonitron through the vibrant streets of Las Vegas. This thrilling display attracted over 100 million viewers worldwide across various platforms. For Electrikhana 2, the action shifted to Mexico City, one of the world's most populous metropolises. Here, the Hoonigan team, founded by Block, explored remarkable spots ranging from the city's contemporary airport to an intricately designed spiral parking garage.
A unique highlight of Electrikhana 2, conceived by Block and the Audi Sport engineers, showcased an exceptional feature only possible in an electric vehicle. In a memorable scene, the S1 Hoonitron's front and rear axles moved in contrasting directions. This maneuver, performed while stationary, engulfed the car in a vast white cloud, captivating Block's dedicated fans and honoring the unforgettable drift maestro.
