New 2024 Toyota Urban Cruiser TAISOR Revealed in India
32Toyota recently introduced the Urban Cruiser Taisor in India. This new compact SUV comes in six different models, with starting prices at 7.74 lakh rupees, not including extra costs like taxes or dealer charges.
The Taisor is essentially the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, but with some noticeable changes. It sports a distinctive front grille, LED daytime running lights, a set of revamped tail lights linked by an LED strip, and modern 16-inch wheels.
Inside, the Taisor features a mix of black and brown for its seats and panels. It's decked out with a 9-inch screen for all your entertainment needs, compatible with both Android and Apple phones without any cords. Plus, it's got features for comfort and convenience like temperature control that adjusts itself, a wireless spot for charging your phone, cameras giving you a view all around, and a display that projects important info right in front of the driver.
Under the hood, you have two choices for engines. One is a 1.2-liter petrol engine giving you 89 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. The other is a bit more powerful, a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, delivering 99 horsepower and 148 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a standard 5-speed manual transmission. For those preferring an automatic, the 1.0-liter version offers a 6-speed option, while the 1.2-liter engine might be available with a 5-speed automated manual transmission. There's also an option for a CNG version right from the factory.
