New 2025 Audi A5 and S5 Front and Rear Design
11At first glance, the completely redesigned Audi A5 family showcases a powerful and clean design. The new proportions, featuring a long wheelbase, large wheels, and a low, sporty body, embody a sense of modern dynamism and premium quality. In the sedan, the compact, sporty greenhouse extends toward the rear in a sweeping arc, merging seamlessly into the shallow rear window with a coupe-like finish, and concludes at the short tailgate with a distinctive spoiler lip.
The rear hatch, a novel feature in this vehicle segment, blends design and functionality. It opens with the rear window, making access to the luggage compartment significantly easier, introducing a new sedan concept for Audi. In the Avant, the dynamic roofline integrates seamlessly into a roof spoiler, spanning the sporty, flat rear window. The steeply raked D-pillars emphasize the dynamic side profile of the A5 Avant.
At the front, the wide and notably flatter Singleframe grille with a three-dimensional honeycomb structure stands out. Paired with slim, precisely drawn headlights, it defines the vehicle's face, giving it a sharp and focused look. The "soft nose" integrated into the bumper allows the hood to sit flush with the front end. The powerful blisters over the front and rear wheels evoke the Audi Urquattro, a core element of Audi's design DNA.
The distinctive rear combines sporty design with intelligent technology. Sculptural geometry and a continuous, three-dimensionally offset light strip give the new Audi A5 a striking presence and visual dynamism. The base models feature a clean, modern bumper design with a dark diffuser and high-quality rectangular exhaust tips.
