Notes about the stream -
- To counter instalock toxicity : cascading picks are added. each player has 15-20 seconds to pick an agent and the slection happens one at a time like apex legends has. if u miss picking the agent it comes back at the end. coming act 2 or act 3.
- The issue with same map coming too many times, it should shift a bit in episode 4 as they are implementing some change for it.
- We are getting another toxicity blocking tool where u can type the words that should be censored in chat. it's a way to counter bad words that are typed in a different way.
- Tournament system is taking long time. it will take more long time.
- People loved mobility. they wanted to push it further. (NEON)
- The tradeof for her extremely high mobility is her vulnerability to not have gun up while sprinting.
- the stun bounce was an accident. they switched collisions off and found the bounce style and used it, fine tuned it. also gave the lightning identity to it.
- Chamber is doing very well with close to 50% win rate.
- Yoru - Still working, fake tp was too op so working on that.
- AGENT CHANGES - HALF THE ROSTER IS changing. giving them more identiy & role.
- Half the roster has changed. internal build is MUCH MUCH different to live roster.
- Protocol was started in 2019. they were working for a long time. They wanted guns that transform like transformers kinda thing. Dystopian cyberpunky theme. In the same universe of glitchpop.. glitchpop is by rebels, protocol is by enforcers hunting em down. doesn't feels grungy, griddy and dark but feels aspirational so the team did a good job. THIS SKIN ISN'T CANNON TO VALORANT
