Call of Duty 2021, heavily rumoured to be called Call of Duty: Vanguard, is still on track to release later this year, confirmed by Activision executives earlier on their Q2 2021 Financial Investor Call. Activision Blizzard President & COO said that “our teams remain hard at work on the next new premium Call of Duty release, planned for the fourth quarter.” He also noted that the setting will be one that “fans know and love” with “incredible amount of content in development.” “From a setting that our fans know and love to an incredible amount of content in development including an extensive live ops schedule, we believe this release will be incredibly well received.“ “In addition to launching a great seamless experience for both current and next-gen console players, we are focused on continuing to integrate Warzone and engaging our direct relationship with our player base through even deeper content integration between the premium and free experiences and substantial innovation coming within Warzone itself.” With this in mind, it looks like we could expect the Call of Duty 2021 Reveal to happen this month during Season 5! The teaser within the Season 5 artwork and the mention of the reveal from Activision themselves being "soon" leads the community to believe that this month is the month we will finally see COD 2021 Reveal but only time will tell.
