*NEW Colorwood Sort Walk-through/Review Levels 1-22 / My Own Mini Firework Show
I have another new one for you guys! This is a game that has been popping up in ads these past few months, so I'm sure you may have seen it at least once if you are a mobile game player. I'm always up for trying new games, especially puzzles. This game is practically new as it has 100k downloads compared to ones that have millions. The game is Colorwood Sort! The name tells you just about everything you need to know. It's sorting colors of wooden blocks. It's unique to me because, while it's similar to the jars of water and balls, this one gives you that true feeling of stacking blocks on top of each other. At this time, I'm not sure of any competing games like this out there.
A few things I enjoyed about the game were the playful little place marker. Whenever I was able, I captured it, hopping from one level to the next. The reason why I didn't always get it is because I had to time my pausing and un-pausing for ad breaks. Unfortunately, this game does come with a good bit of those. But on to more of the positives. At first, it took me a while to make out the sound the completed puzzles were making. What I came up with is that they sound like they are making distant firework explosions. This actually was a rather enjoyable sound. While this game is simple in concept, and one you may have played in another form, it still has a way of keeping things exciting and challenging. There are both "special" and "hard" levels to go along with the normal one. I was even surprised to see how they switched things up by allowing you to move freely to limiting it to a certain number of allowed moves. I guess they want to keep you on your toes.
Of course, this game comes with its own music. Which is fitting and peaceful, by the way. As you should know by now, if you have read some of my descriptions before, I go without music sometimes due to possible copyright issues later. Now, let's get to the rating, shall we. If I was to give Colorwood Sort Puzzle Game a score out of an A: meaning I will be playing it again for sure, B: meaning I might play it again, if I just want to play something, or C: meaning see you later alligator, it wasn't as fun as I had hoped, I will have to give this one a "B". Yes, it brought the challenge. I had to restart a few levels because I found myself trapped. That was actually a plus. The need to have to make an effort actually added to the allure. But as I kept playing, it just felt like other games I've played like this one, and I don't play those games often. The reason why I can see myself playing this game if I just wanted to play something other than my norms is the fact that it is well done. The graphics work. The sound effects are really neat in this game. Take the battery charging, for instance, when you are on a winning streak. All of that made Colorwood Sort fun.
It's still fairly new, but the Play Store star rating is remaining at a solid 4.6. That alone should tell you that this might be one to check out. Even if you just want to try it to see what it's really all about. Thanks for taking the time to check out this review. I do hope you enjoy the video! Until next time. #colorwoodsort #colorsorting #game #mobilegame #walkthrough #puzzle #newgame
