This one is about creating that depth of the dancing lights, almost from the perspective of laying down on the ground and just looking up at the night sky as the lights perform their magic. Today's Tutorial Information:
▶ Technique: Dutch Pour / Target Blowout
▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with paint, water and a pouring medium (Floetrol Owatrol) with a ratio of 1:1:3 - You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use. Floetrol Owatrol is thicker than the US version of Flood Floetrol so you might not need the water element when mixing your paints.
▶ Color Palette: all the Color's I have mixed up across all creations.
Amsterdam: Ultramarine Violet, Lamp Black (Base)
Arteza: Raspberry Red
Winsor & Newton: Perm Green Light
Daler Rowney: System3 Acrylic - Leaf Green
When I use a cell activator I use Australian Floetrol and Titanium White 4:1
▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.
