What's hiding beneath?! Split Base with SECRET color cells! Abstract Acrylic Pouring Art
473I wanted to create a swipe on a split base of black and white; but the idea was to "hide" the colors underneath the black, so they popped through and shimmered whilst the colors lay directly on top of the white. Can I achieve my vision? I absolutely LOVE the effect and I hope you do too.

Today's Tutorial Information:
▶ Technique: Dutch Pour / Target Blowout
▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with paint, water and a pouring medium (Floetrol Owatrol) with a ratio of 1:1:3 - You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use. Floetrol Owatrol is thicker than the US version of Flood Floetrol so you might not need the water element when mixing your paints.
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Manganese Blue, Metallic Green, Lamp Black, Titanium White
Arteza: Pearl Strawberry Red, Pearl Magenta, Pearl Turquoise, Pearl Ocean Blue.
Pebeo: Iridescent Precious Gold
When I use a cell activator I use Australian Floetrol and Titanium White 4:1
▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.
