A brand new Steam overlay update allows for Counter-Strike players to cheat using sniper rifles by giving the players a crosshair on screen. This cheat involves the new notes overlay. Users are setting the notepad in the center of their screen, adding a letter or asterisk to the middle, and changing the opacity to 50% to still be able to view beyond the note. This is creating an unfair advantage for people who use this technique and pair it with the AWP to get a one-shot no-scope .
