Assuming no mistakes, this route saves 2-3 seconds over the much more difficult method. Half the credit goes to TDutch for providing video footage of this cool fire rod damage boost. To perform the ice rod clip, replicate the Big Bomb Skip but just before the ice block moves Link stop moving the control stick; if you do you will void out. Mashing sword slashes at this moment will also make you less likely to void out. Once you are in the wall use the tornado rod and then perform the fire rod damage boost. To everyone who hated the infamous Desertless Desert Palace Skip, you're welcome...lol. :D
