NEW Historical Battles! - Total War: ROME II - HBR: Caesar's Battles Mod - PART 1 - Battle of Alesia
Finally, someone has added entirely new historical battles into Total War: ROME II that were cut from the game's initial release back in 2013. That someone in particular goes by the name of "Pizzaman" and his mod is called the "Historical Battle Restoration Project". So far he has released two separate mods - one focusing on Julius Caesar and one focusing on Gaius Octavian (aka Augustus Caesar) - which both add, in total, seven entirely new historical battles. 2 existing battles have also been re-worked to be more balanced and more historically-accurate.
Join me on my playthrough with this amazing mod, along with the other fantastic mods I'll be showing off that aim to bring up the game's graphics to today's visual standard. Each episode will focus on a different battle within the mod, played on Legendary.
This episode will focus on the reworked "Battle of Alesia", the first step on Caesar's long road to becoming dictator of Rome, setting up the eventual collapse of the Roman Republic.
