7When a demonic castle rises, darkening the place, two sisters challenge its halls. Together they can break the curse.
In this 2D action adventure, your school turns into a huge demonic castle and, to save it, two demon hunter sisters open the way with swords and guns.
Players can switch controls between both characters along the way, each with completely different abilities. Advance through the castle and face demonic bosses that wait in the depths.
Each boss grants new weapons, allowing for more varied exploration and the opening of new routes.
■ Switch characters as you make your way through the demonic castle!
Control both Kamizono sisters. Make the most of Shinobu's ranged abilities and Maya Kamizono's melee attacks as you make your way through the castle.
Each sister has a variety of unique secondary weapons, giving you plenty of options to tailor your strategy whenever the need arises. Don't hesitate to use them while you have weapon points! If one of the sisters is defeated during battle, they can be resurrected with "Sister Rescue" — that is, if you manage to get as far as where they were defeated.
■ Defeat bosses and earn new secondary weapons, as well as opening up a new layer of exploration!
Defeating bosses will grant new secondary weapons, giving the sisters breathtaking new abilities.
These secondary weapons will also open up new routes and means of exploring the castle.

The story of Grim Guardians focuses on two main aspects: the mystery behind the school's transformation and the whereabouts of the other students. Live the original experience in "Pure" mode with all original Japanese voices in story mode or choose "Refined" to hear the action-focused English voices, made especially for fans of the genre.

With three game styles, "Casual", "Veteran" and "Legend", the player can adjust the difficulty the way they prefer. This can be changed at any time during the game without penalty.
