2Broken Ranks is a Free2Play MMORPG in the ISO perspective. You control a hero with one of 7 classes and explore a 2.5D world. There you fight against your enemies in a turn-based combat system. Broken Ranks offers various PvE contents like dungeons and raids, as well as PvP battles. Overall, it relies on a rough atmosphere and a dark story.
What is this game? Broken Ranks is a new MMORPG from the Polish indie studio Whitemoon. In the game I slip into a character who has lost his family and home to the evil Utors. I am one of the few survivors and have received a message that I am supposed to deliver to a person on a continent that is completely foreign to me.
The world is set in a 2.5D look with beautiful graphics, reminiscent of paintings in style. I control my character in iso-perspective and with mouse clicks.
The really special thing about Broken Ranks, however, is the combat system. In most other MMORPGs, I run through the world and attack enemies in either an action or tab targeting system. But everything happens in real time. Broken Ranks, however, uses a turn-based combat system. Whenever I attack an enemy, I'm taken to an external battlefield to take out the enemy(s).

Turn-based Combat System
Our unique combat system has been praised by the enthusiasts of both turn-based and action games. Players plan their movements at the same time and have only 10 seconds to do so. When creating your character, you have 7 classes to choose from: barbarian, archer, sheed, druid, voodoo shaman, fire mage or knight. Each of them uses their own set of unique abilities. When playing by yourself, you will certainly experience the tactical depth of our combat system, while playing with others will let you fully appreciate various relationships between classes and unique combinations.
