0*NEW* Magic the gathering is a world of JUNK!\nThe hot topic today is Magic the gathering is becoming a new world for collectors and players.\nNew ways to collect and play magic. Universes Beyond, serialized cards. Different art styles and alternate frames. You got different foil types, etched foils, raised foils, textured foils, gilded foils, galaxy foils, surge foils... ECT. ECT. Different foil types, art styles, altered borders and border-less cards. You get up-to seven plus variants of a card in a set sometimes. All are collectible and all are playable in the world of Magic. The community is very split on their favorite variants of cards. Some people like the card treatment to be simple, like me, others like the style to have a chaotic difference. And look very wild. There are literally a dumpster fire amount of different styles, and sometimes a lot in one set. And people in general love them! They have there favorites. Now some people complain about the many variants and others celebrate their favorites. The reaction has been mixed across the board. And no matter how many people have come out and verbally stated their thoughts about all the changes in our game. Their wallets have been adverse and showing WOTC that they want more of them. Universes beyond sets have people up in arms with the latest changes. People love them, have their favorites and some people that hate ones that make no sense to them. People been adverse to the standard legality of these sets. But again we'll see how the wallets decide the fate of Magic once again!\nWill these very different views matter in the community or will WOTC continue to grow? The views on everything I have touched on have been heavily talked about from one extreme to the other. But The wallets of the community have been keeping WOTC afloat?
