Photon Overcharge is a new Nightwave augment mod for any glaxion model that adds a bunch of crit damage and gives slain enemies a chance to drop an energy orb at a 2% chance but scaling with cold procs for up to an 18% chance per enemy at 9 procs.

While the chance is somewhat low the crit damage more than makes up for the slot as Hammer Shot only gives 60% critical damage, and this also allows new player an additional source of energy orbs as long as they can reach rank 25 in Nightwave this season.
