In this beginners how-to-get-started guide, I try to take some of the trepidation, nervousness & intimidation about your first steps into online Arma 3 multiplayer in the excellent Mike Force Game Mode for the Prairie Fire DLC.
If you're wondering which is the best server to start playing on, at the top of this description is the name of what could be the best beginner-friendly Mike Force Server, which offers a slightly simplified version of this scenario, where you'll play as an ordinary soldier and not have to worry about building FOBS or flying helicopters, just head to the Green Hornets Base, jump in a Huey or a Chinook, and you'll be taken straight to the live AO and into combat.
Spend some time in the Armory making a useful loadout that includes plenty of meds, food, water & weapons, remember to save it, and you'll be ready!
