Do you recall how the last video ended on a not so complete note? Well there's two reasons why that happened. The first is upon discovering that the additional stage for this world can be found via a secret exit we missed.

Stage completed for Layer-Cake Desert:
2-6 - Spike's Spouting Sands (Alternate Exit)
2-Ice Block - Piranha Plants on Ice

This one stage is quite a pain! The dreaded Venus Fly Traps are back, much to my dismay (recall my play through of New Super Mario Bros. Wii during 9-7). But yeah, only one (and a half) stages completed this time. Once you see the design of the stage, you may come to understand why it took awhile to beat this level.

We had gone back to look for a secret exit before recording. Once we found it, our second "problem" started rearing it's ugly head in.

Here is an explanation regarding this blooper: The TV we used in our hotel for some reason didn't want to use my component cables correctly, producing a grey blurred video source with no sound. So for the past few videos were recorded using SuperHobbit's setup via composite cables. But all of a sudden, his computer at this point started to "Blue Screen of Death", loosing any footage during the session. And he did not seem to encounter this problem before. The BSOD you see in this video was a re-creation of the exact error from attempt #2. We managed to continue after a third attempt. Unfortunately, this isn't the last time we will see this happen, but a good "switch" happens later.
