The Hunt: First Edition (commonly called The Hunt) is an official event owned by the group Roblox Presents. The event takes place from March 15, 2024 at 10am PT to March 30, 2024 at 2pm PT. It centers around an 'Infinite Vault,' where participants go through 100 partnered experiences to obtain badges, which can then be used to redeem various items via the events hub.
Prior to the event's release, Roblox released the Korblox Deathwalker bundle onto the Marketplace as a teaser for the event. Shortly after, the Roblox twitter account would release teasers for the event's release date, the event's inclusion of developer-made experiences, and the event's prizes.
Abilities are a feature in Blade Ball used to give a player special powers. Some abilities can also be upgraded to make them better and more powerful. They can be obtained via Coins, the Wheel, and other unique ways. They can be used offensively, defensively, or even both! They have a wide range of costs, with some being cheap and some expensive.
All Abilities have some sort of cooldown to prevent the player from being too dominant. The better the ability is, the more likely it is to have a longer cooldown.
Types of abilities
Active: Activatable abilities are abilities that are activated with a right click, clicking the button, or the Q key. They are always accompanied by cooldowns upon activation.
Passive: Passive abilities are abilities that do not use the cooldown mechanic or are activated; they are used indefinitely until the said player dies.
What do upgrades do?
Most abilities are accompanied by 2 upgrades, and their costs are specific. The first upgrade is half of the cost for the ability to be unlocked, while the second is the cost to unlock. Every upgrade increases the potential of some aspects of the ability, but almost every time lowers the cooldown. Most abilities earned from events/robux cannot be upgraded.
How do I get ability skins?
The 2nd and last upgrade of an ability will always give a new skin for it, which normally is a new color. (EX: Super jump's upgrade skin are blue rays while activated)
