New Unitree Dominates Day One at World Robot Games – Double Gold Victory!
Unitree Robotics just made history at the first World Humanoid Robot Games by winning double gold on day one. Their H1 humanoid robot crushed the 1500-meter and 400-meter races, setting new standards for humanoid performance.
The first World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing featured over 500 humanoid robots from 16 countries competing in 26 events. From football to boxing, cleaning to track races, this was the ultimate test of robotics and artificial intelligence in motion. Unitree’s H1 humanoid robot dominated the 1500-meter with a time of 6:34.40 and the 400-meter with 1:28.03, also recording a real stopwatch time of 1:23.03.
While the Games also showcased robots crashing, stumbling, and recovering in real-time, Unitree’s double victory highlighted the massive progress in humanoid locomotion and control. These performances prove that humanoid robots are moving closer to real-world applications.
