My take on the new, further updated (Dec. 16th), Warcraft III Public Test Realm 1.35.0 Patch Notes
I think these further updated patch notes are probably an even better step in the right direction, but still a couple things that could be addressed. Below are a few big things to consider, but also much more discussed within the video itself.
Immolation - Damage could still be tweaked lower (but slightly higher dps than current live patch), and still be strong and usable alongside the mana reduction plus more consistent tick rate. Current proposed damage is still a little too high. The damage still has the same damage per tick from before, but is ticking twice a second, instead of previously ticking once a second.
Talon Crow Form - Piercing damage might not be the right choice, maybe better to stay as magic damage and buff the magic damage, that way they can't beat destroyers which are supposed to counter them.
Nerubian Tower - Still could use a nerf, maybe instead of the Haunted Gold Mine build time nerf.
Frost Nova - Maybe nerfing slow duration and single target damage would be better than nerfing the AOE damage (nerfing only aoe damage is still good though as well). Nerfing Dark Ritual (particularly level 2 Dark Ritual) could also be something to think about when it comes to Lich
I think these proposed patch notes could be good for the game, but hard to say exactly how everything will balance out with there being quite a few changes. UD especially could be rough at lower MMR's in particular, but top UD players may still be just fine. My initial thoughts are that Orc looks fairly strong from this overall, assuming that immolation doesnt go through as is. It would of course be great to see change, as well as follow up change in case anything clearly has too much of a nerf or buff.
