My take on the newer, further updated (Jan. 4th), Warcraft III Public Test Realm 1.35.0 Patch Notes
The patch notes are a bit more tame now, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Many would probably prefer lots of patches that shake up the meta, but at this point in WC3's life, i think thats unrealistic, so I find these patch notes to be alright.
I still think Frost Nova should be nerfed, so it was surprising to see that taken away in favor of a Dark Ritual nerf. I also think Nerubian tower should still be nerfed, especially with the Haunted Gold Mine nerf now being only 10 extra seconds to build time rather than the 20 seconds proposed last time. Immolation level 1 and 2 should still be checked in actual gameplay, but they may be fine as is with these new numbers, especially with the mana drain being at 6 now (previously 7, buffed to 5, then nerfed back now to 6). Talons also are fine with the crow form mana cost reduction, but I still dont know if giving them piercing damage in crow form is a good idea.
Overall I would put UD and ORC at the top, with NE and HU at the bottom with these changes. We shall see what happens when a patch actually goes live, and if there is any further changes before then.
