New World Aeternum is an MMO ( Reworked And Updated ).
It Was a PC MMO Which is Now Coming to Console.
New World Aeternum is a Typical MMO with the Usual MMO Tropes.
Generic Fetch Quests and Tedious Mission Design.
Like Many MMO's 90% Trash Quests Until You Reach Dungeons, Raids, Endgame ect.
One Day we may get an MMO that has more Meaningful and Engaging Questing.
Dont get me Wrong its Not that the Game is Bad, Its just the same old tired Formula aka Playing it Safe without Innovating the Formula.
Aeternums Combat is Alright ( Granted Hit Boxes are a Bit Off ).
The Game Looks Nice and Plays Well.
I Like the Fact you are Not Locked into a Class.
You Start with a Class But can use ALL Weapons and Class Abilities.
Dungeons, Raids, Endgame No Doubt will be Fun.
But if it Takes Hours and Hours to get to Endgame and Start Having Fun then a Game has Failed in my opinion.
Games should be Good and Fun right from the Start or Maybe Not Long into it.
My Opinion is that this Game will be Alright at First when it Releases while it is Populated.
But if you come in at a Later Date when its Not so Populated then i think it will be kinda Tedious, Bland and Boring.
So if your Interested in Playing New World Aeternum i Recommend Playing around Release.
The Only things i Find that Hold this Game up is the Combat and Visuals ( Along with being Populated ).
If the Population Dies Down or Completely Drops Off and your Not at Endgame then the Combat and Visuals will Not be Enough.
The Combat is Much Better than Most Static MMO's ( MMO's where you just stand and Slap Each other until You or Enemy Dies ).
If You Like MMO's Anyway then You will Enjoy this Regardless.
If Your Not an MMO Player then its an Ok Starting Point.
If Your on the Fence just Remember about Population and Time Investment to this Type of Game ( Also if your Playing around Release ).
Still an Average Game that Requires a Lot of time from the Player.
Overall its a Bit of Fun But also Depends if the Price Tag is Worth it for You.
Due to the Tedious Nature of Quests and Mission Design i do Not see myself Getting this on Release.
Also with how Lacking the Weapon Movesets are, And How Lacking the Weapon Special Moves are, With Very Limited Moves and Abilities.
Also the Character Upgrade Paths are Very Linear and Generic.
If the Game was FREE then i would say i Recommend Playing.
